This is a fixed term role until 1st September 2025 Full time, 48 hours per week.
Working 4 night shifts from 20:00-08:30 with a 30 minute unpaid break. A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins).
A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. Wharfedale House in the market town of Wetherby in West Yorkshire, Wharfedale House is home for 18 adults with physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire you will become part of a fantastic team.
Every day is different, but here are just some of the duties you will do: Assistance with daily life tasks including personal care, medication and mealtimes.
Escort and assist in and around the service, at external events and appointments.

To be successful in this role you will: Have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Ideally have personal care experience (not essential).
Be able to work under pressure and as a team.
Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.
