Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedSupport Secretary to work within the specialties of palliative care and oncology based at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
Please note 1-2days of home working per week are offered as part of an existing home workingroster within the team.You will work alongside the existing administrative team toprovide comprehensive and efficient secretarial support.You will need to be a highly motivated and flexible teamplayer with excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability towork under pressure and effectively prioritise your own workload is essential.We are looking for a support secretary with high standards and an eye for detail.
Youmust have the ability to multi-task and work in a busy, ever changingenvironment.Previous Medical Secretarial experience would be desirable, as well as being ableto work on your own initiative with well-developed communication andinterpersonal skills.Possession of RSA stage II/III typing / word processing (orequivalent), audio transcription, GCSE English (Grade C or above) or equivalentis essential.

Main duties of the job To provide full and comprehensive support secretarial cover to the Clinicians and Medical Secretarial department.Ensure all routine clinical information and correspondence is up to date and available when required.
