Supply Chain Manager

Our client based in Tingewick is a reputable supplier of Machinery to companies across the UK.
They are now seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of their supply chain.
This role is focused on maintaining high levels of stock availability while minimising stock levels.
You will manage their small purchasing team and have a strong focus on supplier quality.
Key Responsibilities Manage and nurture supplier relationships.
Maintain min/max stock levels for all products, including spare parts and machinery.
Ensure a viable supply chain is established for every product line.
Oversee the replenishment process for stock products, dropship items, buy-to-order products, and special-order fabrication products.
Lead and manage the Purchasing Administrator.
Ensure product quality meets established company standards.
Requirements Experience Experience in a larger blue-chip business is desirable.
Team management experience is preferred but not essential; candidates seeking their first management role may be considered.
Proven track record of significant achievements in supply chain management.
Skills & Qualifications BSc in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of how purchasing decisions impact the P&L and balance sheet.

Reliable and consistent in delivering results with appropriate oversight.

Benefits Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Growth By Sharing Bonus Scheme: Eligible after 6 months' probation.
Progression Opportunities: Potential for greater responsibility and involvement in R&D, as well as opportunities for team expansion.
Car/Car Allowance: Negotiable.
Business Mileage: Paid in accordance with government guidelines.
Equipment: Laptop and phone provided.
Additional Bonuses/Expenses: Participation in team-related challenges with associated rewards and bonuses.
