It is also looking to strengthen its relationship with its suppliers and this is where you will come in as the Supplier QA Manager.
The really exciting part of this role is you will in effect set up what this new centralised technical function, so if you want to create something new and not walk in old worn trodden boots this is a superb opportunity.
Working with the Head of Technical, you and your team will be accountable for suppliers across the broad including food, packaging and food contact equipment, to improve technical policies and supplier compliance.
Evaluating risk and supplier performance, coaching to raise standards and working with suppliers to investigate and manage complaints, we're looking for a proactive and motivational approach who can build collaborative relationships with your suppliers.
What is key in this role is knowing what a good supplier assurance program looks like, so you can implement it into this business.
You will be analysing the current offering and rolling out the the pockets of best practice across the group as part of a unified approach.
An element of your time will be spent travelling to sites and suppliers with the majority of your time being remote working (if you wish), so a UK driving licence and willingness to travel is needed.
