The Role: As Studio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our studio.
You will need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling extensive administrative tasks.
The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, overseeing timesheet software, and providing executive support to the Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities: Studio Administration : Oversee studio operations, including timesheet management, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Proficiency in using timesheet software is essential – experience with Harvest is a significant advantage.
Executive Support : Provide PA support to the Creative Director, including diary management, booking travel, running errands, and managing paperwork.
Project Coordination : Ensure that studio resources and project timelines align with business objectives, while keeping everything on track.
Team Support : Coordinate the design team's holiday schedules and assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the team.
Communication : Serve as the liaison between the design team and other key departments, ensuring clear communication and workflow efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain and manage project documentation, prepare reports, and ensure all stakeholders are updated on progress.
Problem Solving : Address bottlenecks, manage studio workflow, and assist project managers with risk management and project deadlines.
What We're Looking For: Experience : Previous experience as a Studio Manager or in a similar role within an Architecture or Design & Build environment is key.
Organisation : Exceptional organisational skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise administrative duties.
Technical Proficiency : Experience with timesheet management software and strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Communication : Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively with senior management and across departments.
Problem-Solving : A proactive approach to solving problems and managing changing priorities within a busy studio environment.
