GTC, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for a Strategy Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
Special conditions applying: We require all our Strategy Engineers to have their criminal records checked through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).This is due to the nature of the role going into customers homes .

As the Strategy Engineer your key responsibilities are Developing an asset maintenance strategy, for specific asset groups/geography, and to evaluate the impact of legislative and regulatory obligations on these strategies.
Maximise asset utilisation, develop strategic plans to meet future demands and ensure robust risk and investment plans are in place for specific investment groups.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a framework to measure the performance and condition of assets and act on the results to maintain asset lives and agreed levels of public safety whilst optimising expenditure for specific asset groups or geography.
Responsible for developing and maintaining engineering policies to achieve required business performance and to ensure that full compliance with obligations.

About you EngTech (or working towards) with a recognised Engineering Institution.
Working towards an Authorising Engineer and/or Competent Person.
Understanding of gas assets and how maintenance impacts integrity.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders inc senior leaders.
Previous experience of managing successful teams.
Ability to use MS Project or similar/MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
