About the role We are looking for an inspiring Store Design, Junior Project Manager to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract, who will be managing key store design projects for the UK region.
This involves managing projects from initial briefing and creative concept, right the way through to store opening!
This role is all about delivering an exceptional Charlotte Tilbury customer experience within cost, timeline and operational requirements.
As a Store Design Junior Project Manager, you will Ensure design standards and concepts are maintained in all architectural details.
You will also be responsible for managing design packs for internal approval, and external /retailer sign off processes.
Support the Project Manager in managing, liaising, and developing key relationships with Charlotte Tilbury suppliers, consultants, external PMs, architects and internal teams.
Perform material and detail research with suppliers and consultants for architectural store design elements with consideration to construction standards, maintenance, operations, and procurement needs.
Ensure that the execution of assigned projects is in alignment with brand standards, strategy, schedules and budgets.
Work closely with the design team to review and obtain approval of manufacture drawings for design integrity and safety standards for assigned projects.
Create and manage CPA for store design projects and present updates to the business.
Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues that can impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity on multiple projects.
Attend installation, monitor standards and quickly resolve snagging.
Manage all aspects of project budgets including cost control, purchase order and payment tracking procedures.
Understand and interpret building codes & ensure relevant building applications are submitted where applicable.
Who you will work with You will report directly to our wonderful Senior Store Design Project Manager – UK, working alongside some highly creative and talented individuals within our wider VM & Store Design UK team.
You will also work cross functionally, with teams such as Commercial, Retail, VM, PR & Global, as well as external suppliers and partners.
About you You have demonstrable experience in a similar role within Project Management in Store Design, ideally with experience in managing the approval process for retail stores in all types of environments (Retailer Stores, Free Standing Stores).
An excellent communicator: confident and comfortable presenting, able to influence and effectively articulate your point of view.
You have exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple stakeholders with ease!
You thrive working to pace, you are able to ruthlessly prioritise and can manage multiple deadlines at anyone time with ease.
Decisive problem-solving skills with regards to construction materials and methods a must, with an awareness of design trends and materials.
Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural concepts advantageous.
You are a self-starter, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to collaborate and drive team success!
Ability to balance design with operational needs and budget objectives, to create exceptional store environments and customer experience.
You are super confident using the MS Suite, with m onday.com knowledge advantageous.
Knowledge of best practice within the construction industry, including accessibility requirements is advantageous.
