Staff - Temporary DBS Decision Maker Job description*Police Staff Vacancy* Full-time, temporary for 12 months, based at HQ Penrith.
There is a temporary 12 month vacancy within our Digital, Data and Technology Command department for the role of DBS Disclosure Decision Maker.
The post holder will play a key role in fulfilling the Constabulary's legal obligations under Part V of the Police Act in relation to Enhanced Criminal Records Certificate (ECRC) Disclosures and requests for information from the DBS Barring Arm.
The post-holder is responsible for providing accurate, relevant and timely information on behalf of the Chief Officer to the DBS, which provides a National Disclosure Service; the purpose of which is to assist employers to assess an applicant's suitability to work with children and vulnerable adults.
