Main duties of the job As a Staff Nurse you will be responsible for providing care topeople admitted to our ward for rehabilitation.
We work closely as amulti-disciplinary team.
Our focusispromoting the comfort andwellbeing of patients, enablingthemto live as independently as possible.Tenbury is a small but friendly team to work with.
As a team we encourageongoing learning and development through reflection and clinical supervisionwhich we try and embed in our daily practice.
Our nurses are required to facilitatethe day to day running of the ward, administering medications, workingalongside all members of the MDT as well as patients, their families and carersto provided 24/7 rehabilitation to enable the highest level of independence andquality of life.
Our nurses are required to attend meetings as needed such asMDT and CHC or Discharge Planning.

Accredited courses in Palliative Care, Tissue Viability, Diabetes, Dementia Experience Essential Experience gained during pre-registration training Desirable Experience gained working in the frailty care setting Knowledge Essential Confidence to teach student nurses, patients, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team Desirable Medication administration via various routes PO, PR, S/C, IM, IV Experience of Audit Knowledge and understanding of Mental Capacity and DOLs
