Job summary Staff Nurse - Paediatric Planned Care Department: Paediatric Band: 5 £29,970 - £36,483 Per annum, pro rata if part time Hours: Full time, per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who can work within a small friendly team within our Planned Care Services.
We are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about Planned Care and is willing to work towards a changing service.
We run numerous consultant, therapies, nursing and phlebotomy clinics in our dedicated children's outpatient department.
A variety of children's clinics run from both paediatricians and other specialties including clinics held by the Tertiary Centre's.

Interview date: 20 December 2024 Main duties of the job To provide high quality nursing care and participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the care needs for the patient group.
To deliver compassionate person-centred care, and treat patients, service users, their families and their carers with consideration, dignity and the respect you would want for yourself or your family.
To provide relevant forms of care with minimal supervision and participate in the supervision and teaching and assessment of unregistered or junior staff and students.
The post holder must be organised, responsive and flexible in coordinating and leading outpatient clinics and supporting specialist Nursing teams.
The post available is at the Paediatric Outpatient Department at Milton Keynes University Hospital and the post holder would be expected to work across all Paediatric areas when required.
