Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and a high level of communication skills, as you act as the interface between patients and other healthcare professionals.The Medical Day Unit has 2 treatment rooms, both with 10 chairs, working alongside clinical haematology outpatient department.We specialise in intravenous therapies with a specific focus on haematological conditions.
We work primarily to conduct day case treatments and investigation, preventing inpatient admissions and administering chemotherapy for haematological malignancies, as well as treatments for General Medicine.We would love an experienced SACT trained nurse to join our team, or a nurse looking for a new challenge and willing to complete the necessary training.If you are interested in developing your skills and experience, working in a dynamic, fast paced area of nursing then we would welcome your application.Please telephone the team, should you wish to discuss further.

Specialist Regional Services We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
