Job summary Are you a staff nurse who is passionate about supporting young people with complex needs?
Do you want to be part of a dedicated team that strives for excellence and aims to support your lifestyle?Whether you are an experienced staff nurse or a newly qualified nurse seeking their first post and are awaiting your NMC pin, we will support you in developing and expanding your skills at The Beacon.You would be working in a diverse in-patient setting amongst a team of various health professionals and be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing evidence-based care to service users who are acutely unwell.Our new purpose built unit, The Beacon is based at the Bradgate Hospital site at Leicester Glenfield Hospital on the north side of Leicester.We are looking for motivated, proactive, enthusiastic and caring professionals to expand our well-established team.We support our patients on a 24/7 basis, so you will be required to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis including weekends and bank holidays.Some of the benefits of working for Leicestershire Partnership Trust include:Annual leave - 27-33 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays - (dependent on service).Free Car Parking at all LPT sites.Lease Car SchemePhysiotherapyOccupational Health ServicesVivup salary sacrifice scheme for household goodsCounselling services Main duties of the job This service is about enhancing the holistic assessment for children and young people, ensuring that we prioritise their physical and emotional well-being in their assessment and treatment within CAMHS.This post attracts a Welcome Bonus.
This comprises of an initial payment of £1,800 pro rata to hours worked, payable with your first salary, a further payment of £1,800 pro rata to hours worked after 12 months service and a final payment of £1,400 pro rata to hours worked after 18 months service.
Qualifying criteria and Scheme Rules do apply, including a minimum tenure in post of 24 months to avoid any repayment.
