The RoleWe are looking to recruit a Staff Grade Graphic Designer to join the Medical Illustration Service at University Hospital Wishaw!You will join a team of 16 staff who are committed to providing a comprehensive Medical Photography, Ophthalmic imaging and Graphic Design Service, pan Lanarkshire.
You will undertake graphic design and in-house print and finishing duties, as well as assisting in the provision and management of high-quality clinical, teaching and promotional materials for all areas of NHS Lanarkshire.
You will be required to work at more than one hospital site, based on the service needs.Applicants should possess an HND in Graphic Design or higher.
Consideration may also be given to applicants who have an equivalent level graphic design qualification paired with proven relevant experience working within a commercial setting.
All applicants must be expert in using Adobe Indesign and have a good working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite for traditional print, interactive and fully accessible media.
It would be beneficial for candidates to also be familiar with job management software and to have experience in specifying and managing work sent out for commercial printing.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record.
If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e.
