Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Procurement Manager. In this role, you will drive the sourcing of services that support the growth of Amazon's Middle Mile network.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesYou are responsible for the procurement of a specific Surface Transportation category in our middle mile network. Your sourcing footprint covers EU and UK.You will define procurement strategies for your area of responsibility and set up key Procurement KPIs to measure, monitor and improve metrics such as Total Cost of Ownership.You will work closely with a team of Operations, Program and Product Managers to drive the collection and implementation of requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations.A Day in the LifeTeam work and cross-functional dependencies are part of our day to day in Amazon. You will be expected to work closely with the Amazon Fleet Programs, Operations and Finance teams. The candidate has influence and networking ability to deliver in a highly ambiguous environment.
