Job summary We are seeking a full time band 5 Speech and Language Therapist, with an interest in working within the Forensic setting.
This is a 1 year fixed term post.
You will work within the Women's and Personality Disorder Services to support patients with mental health difficulties and communication needs to access high quality rehabilitation.
You will work directly with patients to understand their communication strengths and needs, to provide direct treatment to improve communication skills, to support patients in accessing other therapies, and work with teams to deliver best communication environments.
You will have support from a Clinical Lead SLT, a Day Service Manager and will work with SLT assistants, apprentices and other SLTs.
You will work with strong Therapies and Education teams to address communication needs in a variety of clinical settings.
