Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Summary Full-time term time only Speech and Language Teaching Assistant role | Long term contract until July 2025 Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis Experience working with children with SEN is desirable First-Class or 2:1 Psychology/Linguistics degree from a top 10 UK University Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Job Role Be Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to the diverse needs of students.
Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis assisting children with their speech and language development Supporting students with varied SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Collaborating with the SENCO, teachers, and external speech and language professionals to implement intervention programmes.
Monitoring progress and adapting support to align with individual development plans.
