Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Advanced Practice Team for a Band 6 Specialist Nurses.
This is a permanent post.
The IBD team has recently seen a significant expansion with the addition of a Consultant Nurse and a biologics coordinator.We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion and commitment to provide high quality, evidence based care for this group of patients.The team work across county, managing a busy Advice line service and a large cohort of patients on Biologics.
They run Rapid Access and drug counselling clinics and provide support to the Gastroenterology ward and the Medical Day Unit.You do not need to be an expert in IBD to apply for the post.
Training, education and support will be provided; however, a keen interest in Gastroenterology/IBD would be advantageous.
