Job summary The post holder will be based in the Outpatient Musculoskeletal team at North Manchester General and will be part of a supportive team with an interest in service development and teaching .
The successful candidate will carry an independent caseload of patients with musculoskeletal, hand and wrist and rheumatological problems, and deliver a high standard of evidence-based physiotherapy.
There are opportunities to experience running rehabilitation groups , as well as seeing patients in a clinic environment.
The team also support the Employee Health and well being MSK service for staff.
Main duties of the job Delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy management of patients with musculoskeletal/Rheumatological presentationsSupervision of less experienced staff, such as rehab assistants and band 5 physiotherapistsClinical mentorship of student physiotherapistsService development projects, such as audit and quality improvement programmesParticipate in orthopaedic weekend rota About us MFT is one of the largest NHS Trust In England with a turnover of £ & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
