  Location:  Peterlee & Surrounding Areas   Position Overview   As an SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping children with special educational needs reach their full potential.

  Duties and Responsibilities Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all pupils Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure children's needs are met effectively Encourage independence and development in pupils, both academically and socially   Qualifications/Experience    Essential   A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives.
Compassion, patience, and empathy for individuals with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual students.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance from experienced professionals.
