The Mandrake, a boutique lifestyle 5-star luxury hotel nestled in the heart of Central London, is seeking a skilled and experienced Spa Therapist to join our world-class spa team for its innovative new spa opening - DAMU.
DAMU will provide a one-of-a-kind spa offering, taking guests on a transformative journey of rejuvenation and renewal, where advanced treatments blend cutting-edge technology with timeless traditions.
Extending the hotels existing spiritual wellness offering, DAMU will offer a holistic approach, with the experiences targeting visible signs of ageing, and delivering unparalleled results in skin rejuvenation.
From head to toe, DAMU's treatments will restore vitality and promote holistic well-being The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering exceptional spa experiences, in a luxury environment - responsible for overseeing all treatments and therapies, to include but not exclusive to massages, facial treatments, wraps, and other holistic treatments in line with our innovative spa concept and menu.
What you'll do: Provide the guests with the highest standards of treatments, ensure that treatments are carried out in line with Mandrake standards and principles.
Ensure the treatments rooms are always set up per the specifications (i.e.
: temperature, equipment, obstacles, number of participants, etc.)
and are in immaculate condition.
To ensure the Spa treatment rooms and relaxation areas are kept to the highest standard of cleanliness and comply with the health, hygiene and safety regulations.
To prepare Lifestyle guides/recommendations for each guest after a treatment.
To consistently re-stock amenities and products in the treatment rooms.
What we are looking for... NVQ Level 3, ITEC, VTCT or equivalent massage related qualifications Excellent customer service skills and a true passion for making others feel better Going above and beyond for guests to make sure they have a unique experience Confident in building relationships with your clients and recommending products Passionate (quality, guest, attention to detail) Pro-active, Self-Motivated with a good understanding of a holistic and wellness Spa Concept.
Drive to maintain high standards of treatment service and retail recommendations Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Strong interpersonal skills - Customer / member experience focused Team player who communicates well with all colleagues Previous experience in a similar role, within a luxury, hotel environment or similar.
