Sous Chef - Twyford

Job Title: Sous Chef Location: Twyford, Berkshire Salary: £29,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 About Us: Join our dedicated team where we provide exceptional care and a warm, welcoming environment for our residents.
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to help us deliver nutritious and delicious meals that make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities: * Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
* Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Ensure high standards of food hygiene and safety.
* Manage kitchen staff and oversee food preparation.
* Contribute to menu planning and development.
* Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
Requirements: * Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
* Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
* City and Guilds 706/2 or NVQ in Professional Cookery.
* Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Passion for creating healthy and appetizing meals.
