The successful sous chef will ideally have experience from a similar establishment, whilst having a history of working to a rosette standard.The successful sous chef will ideally have; Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a similar food-led pub or restaurant, ideally from a rosette background.Proficient and creative with cooking Modern British, with a passion for locally sourced ingredients.Clear passion for the industry and food.Natural ability as a chef with outstanding attention to detail.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Real ambition to succeed at the highest level.Dedicated and excellent team player.
Reporting directly to the Head Chef and General Manager, you will be expected to be able to; Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty.Managing and training the junior members of the brigade working with youHelping the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menusEnsuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safetyMonitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins Due to the location of this particular establishment, the successful applicant will ideally have a full UK driving licence and own transport.
