Sound Engineer About The Ned The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.
The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters.
The Ned City of London houses Ned's Club - a private members' space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.
Reporting into the Sound and Production Manager, you will: Provide live sound engineering for any of the shows in The Nickel stage, The Parlour, or at a membership event The Ned is a 100-year-old building and was originally designed as a bank, not a live music and entertainment venue, but you'll make sure every performance feels like the room was made for it Set up backline and PA systems for events, including managing sound checks Be a point of contact for musicians on site at The Ned Represent The Ned and assist freelance staff covering lighting or audio, including making sure health and safety guidelines are being followed Protect our equipment by maintaining great working practices and doing general housekeeping of your storage areas What you can bring to the role: The technical skills for the role are a non-negotiable, so you'll be ready to demonstrate your audio engineering prowess.
