Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, React, and AWS to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using TypeScript and React.
Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Implement serverless architecture and services using AWS (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Our office Our office is located in The Sharp Project, Manchester which you have daily access to.
There are great transport links and free onsite parking (for cars & bikes).
The Sharp Project is home to over 60 digital entrepreneurs and production companies specialising in digital content production, digital media and TV and film production.
Our team follows a primarily remote work schedule, with occasional requirements to attend the office for workshops, ad-hoc team meetings, full company meetings, and company/team events, all of which are communicated in advance.
For those who prefer to come in more frequently, desks are available in the office for flexible use.
Hours and days of work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Requirements Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on TypeScript and React.
Experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g.
Git).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
