Software Engineer (Frontend/React) | Global Financial Services

An amazing opportunity for a Software Engineer (Frontend / React) is available at a global financial services company situated in Central London. This position will join their Platform Team on a permanent basis and will be instrumental in crafting and delivering exceptional customer and developer experiences for their financial services platform. Key Responsibilities Partner closely with product designers to bring new features to life through design and rapid prototyping. Take the initiative to address ambiguities and make decisions when product and UX timelines are behind. Play a crucial role in shaping the user experience for innovative venture. Participate in the entire user experience design process, from wireframes and mockups to implementation and launch. Quickly create prototypes for new user interactions and iterate based on peer feedback. Help define and maintain visual guidelines to ensure a cohesive look and feel across the application. Work with designers and business stakeholders to tackle challenging problems and implement elegant solutions. Skills and Experience Significant hands-on experience in software engineering concepts Familiarity with Front-End Technologies: React, Node.js, TypeScript Familiarity with Version Control: GitHub, GitHub Actions Understanding of software development processes, commitment to code quality, and proficiency in testing techniques. Proven experience working on software projects that involve design and backend components. Capable of contributing effectively as part of a cohesive team in a high-energy setting. Excellent communication and organisational abilities to navigate a fast-paced team environment.
