Due to continued growth, they now require a midlevel software engineer to join their development team.
As a Software Engineer here, you'll use your positive attitude, as you design and develop exceptional software to support our online services.
You will also use your excellent communication skills and knowledge to help inspire and encourage new ways of working.
You will be passionate about learning and finding the most elegant solution to complex business requirements.
As well as exceptional customer service, to join us you'll need at least 2 years of experience in developing web-based solutions to meet technical requirements and business objectives.We're looking for Software Engineers with:Computer Science/Computing degree (or equivalent relatable experience)Knowledge of object-orientated design principles Ability to gather business requirements and turn these into real technical solutions Knowledge of developing and working with APIs and databases Knowledge of unit testing and security principlesAbility to manage own time to ensure project deadlines are met Proactive problem-solving skillsIdeally you will have experience in developing with the .NET platform, as well as working with RESTful web services, APIs, databases, writing unit tests and integrating with third party systems.
You'll understand technologies such as C#, MVC, .NET 8, Azure, DevOps, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript and you will be familiar with working in an Agile development environment.Desirable Skills (but not essential)Cloud-native and API-first architectures Azure/Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelinesMS SQL Server Microsoft Power Platform / Dynamics / Dataverse Sitecore and Umbraco CMSThis Software Engineer will be responsible for the effective selection, implementation, development and support of business-critical organisation-wide technology systems.
A key role in the Development team, the Software Engineer has responsibility for the full end-to-end implementation and integration of critical business software solutions whether internally developed or externally sourced.
