We are currently seeking an experienced Social Media & Content Manager with a key focus on social media management, influencer marketing, content strategy and community management to join our growing gaming department within the agency.
Reporting directly into the Account Director (Gaming), the ideal candidate has passion for and experience in working within the gaming industry, has experience of building and engaging communities, is talented at producing marketing campaigns and content, and has a spark in their eye for proactively thinking outside the box.
You will work across our gaming client portfolio, which includes game development studios and game consoles, as well as be heavily involved in supporting our pipeline of new business opportunities across the gaming industry.
AT A GLANCE: Full-time contract with hybrid working.
London (3 office days per week) - must be UK based.
Ideally 4 years' experience.
Must understand and have a passion for video game marketing and community building.
Ideally understands emerging web3 tech, especially web3 gaming.
Proactivity is essential, as this role has the scope to work with the Account Director to define the department's market position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Work across AND THE NEW's gaming client portfolio establishing content strategies, channel strategies and go-to market plans.
Responsible for managing client social media channels including content creation, planning, scheduling, brainstorming new creative ideas and reporting on performance.
Create social amplification plans and manage key campaigns.
Copywriting and curation of social media posts for client channels.
Developing and executing tone of voice strategies with clear understanding of the nuances and required differences across channels.
Monitor social conversations and leverage insights derived from a mixture of client data and third-party data sources to build strategy and future content direction for our clients.
Keeping up to date with trends and updates within the social landscape.
Proactively come to the table with new, exciting ideas for our clients that will help them achieve their objectives across social media and beyond.
Be a leading voice on client strategy development and recommendations relating to influencer and content creator marketing.
Participation in regular client meetings and presenting of creative concepts.
Work closely with our in-house Content Production Studio to write briefs for graphic design, content creation, and wider support across video editing.
Conduct content audits, social listening, brand positioning and wider social media management recommendations REQUIREMENTS Established social media and content experience, including proven experience in planning and executing content campaigns, managing and growing social media channels, and working with content creators and streamers.
Direct experience working within the gaming industry either in-house or as part of an agency/consultancy.
You understand the requirements for social channel growth, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, and can manage the process from video concept through to distribution.
You have direct experience in growing and managing closed community channels such as Discord and Telegram.
You stay on top of trends across the social and content landscape and utilise tools to allow you to spot and implement new ideas at speed.
Experience in working with content creators, streamers and/or KOLs from sourcing through to contract negotiation, briefing, managing, and reporting.
Ideally you have the skills and know-how to clip and edit content from streams and other sources, producing engaging content for audiences.
You have watertight organisational skills and can be relied upon to deliver the required work within the set timelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to speak confidently in large group meetings.
You are proactive, enthusiastic & passionate and genuinely care about your work and instils the same passion in your team members.
