An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team at Ach-an –Eas Care Home in Inverness as a Social Care Assistant.
Here at Ach-an-Eas, we put the patient at the heart of everything we do and each colleague within our Care home plays a key role in how we support our residents.
The SCA works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of care to our residents.
Successful candidate will provide personal care for resident as well as supporting with all activities of daily living.
SVQ 2 is desirable but training is given and opportunities to progress within the team are encouraged.
Staff must be flexible, adaptable and work to support other staff, who have responsibility to residents.
Shifts are on a rotational basis hours to be discuss.
Enhancements are paid for weekend and out of hours work.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
