Snr Risk Manager At Leading Global Hedge Fund (Macro Focussed)

OCR Alpha is currently working with a global hedge fund that has been on a strong growth trajectory over the past few years.
They are now looking to expand their Risk department.
Our client, with a stellar international reputation, is particularly well-regarded in the Global Macro space, with offices in both London and New York.
The fund manages over $5bn and is seeking a senior Risk professional to join a small, experienced team responsible for overseeing Market, Portfolio, and Regulatory Risk.
The role includes ensuring regulatory compliance and developing risk frameworks that align with the firm's strategic objectives.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be key in growing the risk team and advancing the firm's existing risk platform.
The ideal candidate will have extensive buy-side risk management experience, strong technical skills (Python and/or SQL), and macro product knowledge.
