The care of patients on the wards, in the theatres and at out-patient clinics as appropriate to the grade of the post and under the direction of the consultants responsible, involving: Operating sessionsAttendance at ward rounds and routine ward workOutpatient clinics This whole-time post is based at the West Wing, John Radcliffe Hospital with occasional visits to peripheral outpatient clinics in the region.
Specialist Trainees will be expected to contribute to the assessment of junior colleagues.
Specialist Trainees will be familiar with the assessment process used in the ISCP.
Specific training will be made available from the Postgraduate Centre.
