We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Contract Site Engineer to take on the groundwork and drainage phases of a large-scale project that's set to shape the city's future.
If you thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for precision and quality, this is your opportunity to lead from the front on a milestone development!What You'll Do:- Setting Out & Precision Surveying: You'll lead the groundwork and drainage setting out, ensuring each line and level is spot on.
- Using GPS, total stations, and cutting-edge tech, you'll translate plans into reality with pinpoint accuracy.- Collaborate with the Best: Work side-by-side with top-tier subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to deliver results that are safe, efficient, and of the highest quality.- Own Quality Assurance: You're the on-the-ground guardian of quality, carrying out inspections and QA checks to ensure every task meets exacting standards.- Be the Problem Solver: No two days are the same, and you'll be the go-to person to swiftly resolve challenges and keep everything on track.- Drive Health & Safety Excellence: Safety is non-negotiable here, and you'll play a leading role in risk assessments, safety briefings, and ensuring every step of the way is secure for all involved.- Keep Stakeholders Informed: From daily progress logs to insightful updates, your detailed reports will keep the entire project team in sync.What We're Looking For:- Experience that Counts: You bring 3-5 years of site engineering experience on large civils projects, especially in groundworks and drainage, and you know how to manage the demands of a fast-paced project.- Setting Out Expertise: Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and software to bring designs to life on-site.Credentials: SMSTS/SSSTS and a valid CSCS card to hit the ground running.- Clear Communication: You're a natural at coordinating with teams, solving problems on the fly, and keeping everyone focused and motivated.- Resilience and Agility: You thrive under pressure, adapting seamlessly to changing conditions and maintaining energy until the job's done.
