Hours: Monday to Friday, Split Shift Pattern Week 1: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM Week 2: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shovel Driver to join our team.
This role involves operating heavy machinery to support daily site operations and manage material movement efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to adapt to a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities: Operate a shovel loader to move materials and stockpile as required.
Perform routine equipment inspections and ensure machines are in good working condition.
Adhere to all safety and site protocols.
Collaborate with site team to meet operational goals.
Report any issues or necessary repairs to the maintenance team.
Requirements: Certification: NPORS or equivalent qualification in operating heavy machinery.
Experience: Previous experience as a Shovel Driver or similar heavy equipment operator.
Strong awareness of health and safety protocols in an industrial environment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on split shifts.
