Shipping Coordinator

Shipping Coordinator Location: Peterborough Rate: up to £20 per hour Umbrella Duration: 6 months, likely to extend to 12 Start Date: 1st December Positions Available: 3 Working Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00 - 16:00, Fri 8:00 - 13:00 (3 days onsite, 2 WFH after training) Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily import/export operations for a dynamic and diverse team, ensuring high impact and customer satisfaction.
Deliver top-notch customer service with frequent customer interactions.
Ensure accuracy in data handling, booking, and transportation management.
Ensures all export entries remain compliant with HMRC and identifies and corrects any errors.
Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience in export, transportation, or logistics coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail, customer management skills, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with HMRC duty suspension schemes are a nice to have.
Experience complying with established regulatory procedures, i.e.
incoterms and SOX is highly advantageous.
