Shift Engineering TechnicianCK Group are recruiting for a Shift Engineering Technician to join a leading pharmaceutical organisation that develop and manufacture veterinary products.
This role is based in Dundee on a full time, permanent basis.
Shift Engineering Technician Role: Your main duties will be to: Ensure the smooth operation of the production equipment.Perform planned maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous process improvements, installing cutting edge state of the art operating systems where precision and impact converge.Preventive and corrective maintenance - provide seamless operations of all equipment and auxiliary systems on-site while meeting the relevant standards and in accordance with the site maintenance processes.
Investigate equipment failures and support activities necessary to improve equipment reliability.Maintain accurate documentation, (electronic/paper), adhering to safety protocols, and compliance with quality standards are essential.Ensure that all records are up to date, supporting a reliable and compliant operation.Supporting all environmental and Health & Safety requirements you will safely execute maintenance activities including Permits to Work, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, Safe Work Practice, COSHH.
Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: Experience working in a GMP environment with an in-depth understanding of GMP processes, procedures and documentation.Minimum C&G, ONC, OND in Engineering Discipline.Experience in an Engineering Technician role or equivalent.Experience working in GMP environment preferred.Have a good understanding of maintenance systems and engineering procedures and systems.Pharmaceutical experience desirable, but not essential.
