Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Service Manager supporting the Urgent Community Response Services Directorate Management Team.
We are a diverse workforce consisting of various roles within Clinical Practice and Operations, providing both acute and community-based care to our local population.
Key Responsibilities Operational Support: Reporting to the Directorate General Manager (DGM), the post holder will support the Group Management Team in the day-to-day operational running of the Group services, including site management responsibilities across all SWBH sites.
Strategic Management: Assist the directorates in the strategic management of access targets, ensuring that the services meet and exceed these goals.
Resource Management: Manage designated areas to maximize income potential and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Essential Skills and Attributes Leadership: Ability to lead and support a diverse team across various sites.
Strategic Thinking: Capable of strategic planning and management to meet access targets.
Operational Efficiency: Focused on optimizing resource use and maximising income potential.

Please note our team will be relocating to Oldbury Council House in October, this will be the main base for Single Point of Access and Virtual Ward.
Main duties of the job Reporting to the Directorate General Manager (DGM), the post holder will be required to work across the Group to support the Group Management Team in the day-to-day operational running of the Group services, this will include site management responsibilities across all SWBH sites, supporting the directorates in the strategic management of access targets, day to day operational management support.He/she will have responsibilities for designated areas in which the post holder will maximise income potential and will support the management of resources to ensure efficient utilisation of these.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Degree or has demonstratable experience within NHS Desirable Training expertise Microsoft Office ECDL or equivalent Management qualification, MBA or equivalent.
Experience Essential Experience of leading projects Proven experience of change management ability Proven experience of service development.
Recent general management experience in the NHS with, responsibility for operational matters including, staff management, budgetary responsibility, performance targets, waiting list management, discharge arrangements.
Desirable Development / implementation of Governance systems and procedures
