We're seeking a dedicated Service & Commissioning Engineer based in the West Midlands, East Midlands or surrounding areas.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who possesses Siemens PLC knowledge or similar expertise and thrives on the variety of visiting state of the art customer sites across primarily around the West Midlands, East Midlands, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire areas to maintain and service cutting-edge equipment.
Specific training will be provided.
**Key Responsibilities** - Conduct maintenance, repair, calibration of leading instrumentation test systems or competitor equipment predominantly within the UK.
- Efficient commissioning of products at various customer sites ensuring operational excellence.
- Provide detailed daily feedback and clear written reports maintaining high standards set by company protocols.
**Skills Required** - Control Engineering Proficiency: must have strong control engineering skills.
knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), especially Siemens models—or equivalent system familiarity is highly important.
Especially PLC fault finding and modifications.
- Electrical engineering back ground, mechanical is also useful.
- Diagnostic Acumen: Excellent diagnostic abilities are essential along with confidence working unsupervised under pressure situations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Good communication capabilities enabling interaction effectively with all staff levels both internally as well as customers.
The ideal candidate should possess self-motivation coupled with commitment to their work schedule flexibility without compromising dedication toward achieving collective goals.
A full driving license is required alongside proficiency using Microsoft Office suite tools.
