Service Engineer Our client is a well-established, market-leading Machinery Manufacturer who manufactures a variety of machines and installs and service contracts across the UK & Ireland.
We are looking to recruit an experienced service engineer to cover the south of the UK.
Role Overview: Provide expert service and maintenance for a diverse range of woodworking and metalworking machinery within a two-hour radius of home. Deliver timely breakdown support, routine maintenance, and thorough Health & Safety inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
Requirements: Strong understanding of 3-phase motors and their braking systems.
Proficient knowledge of machinery control circuits.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong report writing skills.
Full, clean UK driving license.
Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams Physically dextrous and capable of performing inspections and repairs.
Computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and email, and the ability to work from home.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to source new parts through supplier engagement or online searches.
Desirable Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineer Ability to read circuit diagrams.
Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
