Law enforcement specialist consultancy client of mine is in need of an SC cleared Cloud Service Architect who can develop the operational service design and mesh together the Service desk, 2nd/3rd line support model, design and integration of the ITSM tools between ITIL and DevOps for the cloud workstream.
Must have Active Security clearance The IR35 status is still yet to be determined.
Start date: Immediate, latest is early May
Rate: £600+ a day
1 day on-site in Vauxhall a week (Mostly fully remote)

Working closely with the Service Design & Transition Practice and the Project and Programme Manager, the ITSM resource will include the provision of:A fully described Service Support Model via a Service Design Pack (SDP) for selected projectsSupport Requirement gathering via workshops with customersCreation of "building blocks" associated to a projectCustomer engagement (to gather and agree processes)Identification of gaps in the provision of the ServiceFinancial modellingIdentification of interdependencies between the SIAM & DDaT eco systemProduction of any required artefacts required by Service Design and TransitionWeekly and monthly progress and updatesIT Asset Management and Config ManagementProduction of relevant Knowledge ArticlesExperience for the resource must include:Service Management, Service Design and Service Transition.
The core milestones will be:Document the scope of the project (Service elements)Produce the Building Blocks (Service Components) that make up the ServiceProduce a Service Design PackTake the Service Design through to successful Final Operational Readiness (FOR)Detailed Responsibilities:Technical and Delivery Management Oversight: provide oversight for the Cloud MSP teams responsible for a wide array of cloud infrastructure, systems, applications, and functionService Offering Architecture: responsible for architecting the service offering architecture in support of the service manager roleProblem Solving: identify, respond to, and work to resolve emerging AWS and Azure cloud service problemsTooling Development: develop effective tooling to identify and address reliability risksCustomer Interaction: demonstrate proactive interaction with the DCOM, Enterprise Services and IPS teamsRequirements Analysis: analyse complex customer requirements and propose technical and competence development solutionsNecessary Experience:Extensive experience with managing cloud services, ideally AWS and AzureExperience to support development of the Agency's cloud governance modelThanks,
