Senior Structural Technician

Job Title: Senior Structural Technician Location: Halesowen Salary:  Salary Negotiable - Dependent on individual Skills / Exp  Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician with strong AutoCAD skill and expertise to join a busy Structural Engineering Department in Birmingham.
As a Structural Technician you will have excellent AutoCAD abilities and ideally be experienced in the use of CADS RC and Excel.  You will understand projects of a "buildings" nature and be able to work on the production of drawings and details from foundation upwards.
The Role Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications Use of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Excel and other computerised design software Supervising and mentoring less experienced Technicians Liaison with clients and contractors Managing the delivery of projects About You Excellent communications skills both verbally and written IT literate Ideally 5 years+ experience detailing in constructions, with some experience detailing RC.
Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and other consultants Be able to work effectively as part of a team This role does not have a set salary allocated to it as my Client is open various levels of expertise and encourages all to apply who feel they would be suitable for the above opportunity.
