About the Role Collaborating with the firm's Sanctions Committee to provide expert legal advice on sanctions issues across multiple jurisdictions.
Serving as the primary point of contact for the London team on complex sanctions-related queries.
Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes in sanctions law and advising on their impact on the firm's policies and procedures, implementing necessary updates.
Leading the design and execution of sanctions-related projects, ensuring compliance and alignment with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities At least 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in sanctions law, with a strong focus on dispute resolution or contentious matters.
Deep expertise in sanctions law, with an understanding of the global sanctions landscape.
Experience advising on the impact of sanctions in a commercial law firm or in-house environment, ideally within a large international practice.
Proven ability to manage complex legal issues and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and offices.
