Senior Quality Manager £50-60k Bury St Edmunds Highly competitive benefits package Flexibility - 4 days on site Days based role Monday to Friday The Senior QA Manager role in this business is the critical link for the QA Team with production, technical, process and customer service.
Complex manufacturing environments cannot thrive without a robust QA team - this vacancy will appeal to someone who is looking for progression and development in their technical career.
You will be leading a team that are making a real step change in Technical for the business.
Supplying multiple customers and are high profile in their chosen product category internationally means the focus on quality and customer service is paramount.
The business has made significant changes and maintains its focus on continuous improvement.
This QA role is a continuation of that change process and will attract those with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate and engage with multiple teams at all levels.

Working closely with an ambitious Senior Leadership Team.
Key points for the QA Manager role: Leadership and development of the QA Team.
Having the technical expertise to understand for the technical aspects of the role.
Being close and engaging daily with the factory teams driving high levels of food safety and GMP standards.
A bright and inquisitive approach looking for ways to drive improvements.
Conduct regular audits to consistently drive improvements and resolve any issues.
Ensuring the KPI's are well established and measured to track and improve performance where necessary.
Problem solving - able to identify any potential and existing issues with creative and long-term solutions collaborating with the wider factory teams.
For this QA Manager role, you will need: Food Manufacturing experience as QA Supervisor or QA Manager.
Ideally a degree in Food Science or related field.
Good working knowledge of current QA systems and processes.
Confident communicator who enjoys being involved in the factory.
An open, proactive and inquisitive mindset.
Please note there will be travel with this role, one day per month, to a further site.
Unlike many QA Manager roles there is the flexibility to WFH one day per week with the expectation of 4 days on site weekly.
