QHSE Country Manager UK QHSE - Focus on Worldclass Food Safety Mission An exciting new role, which works with management teams across our three UK sites.
(London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Manchester).
You will continually improve the quality, accuracy and adherence to the current practices.
Each and every member of the food industry, from farm to fork, must create a culture where food safety and nutrition is paramount.
You will have worked in a QHSE managerial role with proven experience in managing food safety compliance across multiply sites.
You will need to be self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and genuinely passionate about Food Safety.
With a strong desire for professional growth, your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to engage and influence others, fostering a positive culture throughout the organisation.
Reports To : UK QHSE Manager Location : London Heathrow Colnbrook Contract : Permanent Salary Competitive Benefits: Average 40 hours per week.

Profile Roles and Responsibilities: 1.
Developing and Implementing QHSE Policies : Create, update, and implement quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Risk Assessment and Management : Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them.
You will be responsible for overseeing standards of risk assessments, job safety analyses, and environmental impact assessments.

Compliance Monitoring : Ensure the organization complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and standards.
This involves staying up-to-date with the changing regulations and ensuring the organization's practices align with them.
4.
Training : Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees and contractors on safety, quality, and environmental standards and practices.
5.
Incident Investigation : Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
6.
Emergency Preparedness : Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and contingency plans for various scenarios such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.

Auditing and Inspections : Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards.
Implement corrective actions as necessary.
Develop feedback system and follow up on action plan closures.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records related to QHSE activities, incidents, training, and compliance.
Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as required.
9.
Supplier and Contractor Management : Evaluate and monitor the QHSE performance of suppliers and contractors to ensure they meet the organisation's standards and requirements.
Liaise with procurement for the auditing of suppliers and the supplier performance reviews based on the claims data analysed.
Review the trends on customer complaints and liaise with operational teams for action plan in high frequency areas.

Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improvement in quality, health, safety, and environment.
Collate and monitor the KPI data highlighting trends and areas of improvement.
Skills and Knowledge: Minimum 2+ years of experience in QHSE management and food safety, within catering.
Food Hygiene, minimum diploma level.
Affiliation to a suitable professional body.
Experience of strengthening ISO certifications.
Strong analytical skills are essential.
Excel knowledge desirable.
Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to deliver on strict deadlines.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to build business relationships and interact with internal customers.
