Senior Project Manager

Job DescriptionWe have a current opportunity for a Senior Project Manager on a contract basis.
The position will be based in in the North East for NR ASPRO team via a Tier 1 leading consultancy within Rail.
This position will be to manager, form all aspects, a number of small to large scale Rail Civis and Infrastructure projects/frameworks in he North East and surrounding areas.
This ca vary from Thirsk to Sunderland.
The candidates need to be extremely experienced and have a good understanding of Rail Infrastructure, small scale to large scale projects withing Rail.
A strong background in Rail Civils and Construction is also advantageous.
We would need someone who is familiar with Network Rail Standards, and processes.
AMP process is an extremely important one to be fully aware of and competent in.
Also, needing a Senior Project Manager who fully practiced in Project Handback, and can demonstrate this.
ESSENTIAL FOR THE SUCCESSFUL SENIOR PM - 1.
Rail Infrastructure background - Client and Contractor side 2.
5+ years in Project Management, and 3+ years in a Senior position 3.
Fully Network Rail aware - Standards and procedures 4.
Commercially aware, with Construction and Civils background 5.
Managed small to large scar projects, design to delivery This will be a long term freelance role, based in the North East, so we are ideally looking for candidates in the area, or commutable, as there will be a requirement of 2/3 days a week in the office, and site visits etc.
Rate - up to £500 per day limited company - QDOS/IR35 Assessment will need to be done Length - 12 months + Start date - ASAP Interviews to be held in the next couple of weeks
