They have an emerging & new project delivery division building in Oxford that they're seeking to hire a local Senior or Project Manager to join this exciting new adventure!
The national project delivery team is c150 staff.
Applicants wishing to apply need to have principled experience in the construction delivery of science & technology and / or education experience.
Other commercial experience can be considered.
Current projects include a landmark Norman Foster designed project, various individual Science & Technology Park projects and prestigious higher education schemes plus a boutique Airport tech development project.
Applicants wishing to apply must have strong consultancy PM experience (minimum 5 years) with a BS, QS, Arch or engineering background, demonstrable client facing experience, project delivery (RIBA stages 0-7) and importantly be dynamic in approach, proactive in nature, and enthusiastic by personality.
Applicants must have the capacity to manage individual instructions, build client relationships and provide an outstanding level of client care.
Some duties: Manage & lead projects as part of a wider team on larger projects, £5-20m + Work closely with all stakeholders Understand, promote and implement sustainability briefs and Health & Safety Policies Prepare construction and development budgets Providing regular reports on actual and forecast expenditure against budgets Prepare programmes for monitoring purposes Successful applicant requirements: MUST have full working eligibility in UK MAPM or MRICS Minimum BSc in Surveying / Construction Project Management / Engineering or Architecture degree Effective communicator and enthusiastic character.
Good MS Office skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook Car owner & driver (client cannot consider candidates seeking relocation) Outstanding package on offer (to £75k basic) and our client also offers one of the most competitive bonus schemes in the industry.
