This role involves coordinating change delivery, managing risks and issues, and overseeing budgets and reporting.Responsibilities Project Structure: Design and develop the project delivery and governance structures to ensure effective change.
Project Planning: Create and monitor the project schedule, addressing any obstacles that arise.
Resource Management: Manage time, cost, scope, and quality according to the sponsor's expectations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other Project Managers to achieve common goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders.
Transition Management: Oversee the handover of projects into business-as-usual operations.
Status Reporting: Contribute to key forums regarding project status.
Requirements Ability to manage multiple projects across various portfolios.
Experience with regulatory changes.
Occasionally tasked with high-level business analysis.
Core Skills and Knowledge Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build relationships across teams.
Collaborative approach and strong facilitation skills.
Emotional intelligence for understanding team dynamics and resolving conflicts.
Project Management & Analytical Skills At least 5 years of project management experience in a financial institution.
Experience with large-scale projects that involve multiple teams.
Familiarity with the full project management lifecycle.
Experience in both IT and non-IT projects.
Skills in business analysis, problem-solving, and developing business cases.
Organisational Skills Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively across multiple projects.
Flexibility and capability to work well under pressure.
Facilitation Skills Ability to foster consensus within project teams and create a sense of community.
Experience with facilitation tools.
Commitment to integrity and fair treatment of customers.
