About the Role As the Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding and executing procurement strategies to support key business activities and project delivery.
Working alongside project teams, category managers, and key suppliers, you will lead efforts to develop sourcing plans, optimize supplier relationships, and secure cost-effective supply solutions that align with business and safety goals.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of procurement specialists, driving high performance and strategic alignment.
Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Design : Develop tailored sourcing plans and design supply chains that maximize resource use, meet project specifications, and ensure efficient supplier communication.
Negotiation & Cost Optimization : Lead supplier negotiations to deliver cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with technical, quality, and safety standards.
Supplier Relationship Management : Execute a segmented Supplier Relationship Management strategy that enhances performance, encourages innovation, and reduces risk.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management : Work closely with Category Managers and other functions such as Assurance, Project Management, and Engineering to deliver cohesive, effective project execution.

Strong safety, quality, and environmental focus across all supply chain processes.
Qualifications & Requirements Education : Degree-level qualification or equivalent, with CIPS membership preferred.
Experience : Significant background in a major engineering-based industry (e.g., nuclear, construction, aerospace, oil and gas, manufacturing).
Skills : Proven expertise in end-to-end sourcing, complex contracting (NEC3 essential), and managing cross-functional teams.
Knowledge : Deep understanding of supply management, supplier performance, and contract drafting, especially in NEC model cost frameworks.
