Description Senior Procurement Manager / Senior Category Manager - Data CentresEdinburghPackage negotiable DOEAs a result of the continued success of its European Data Centre business, this leading international consultancy is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager in Edinburgh.Ideally with experience in a similar role in the Data Centre sector, all applicants should have - - Degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, or a construction related field.- Construction Industry Experience required.- Proven track record in Procurement and preferred experience in a leadership role.- Preferential experience across Data Centre projects or other high value, complex schemes.- Strong negotiation, management, and team alignment skills.- Proficient in process execution/development using software tools.- Excellent reasoning and strategic thinking abilities.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Knowledge of data centre procurement, contract agreements, and product/service knowledge.- OFCI experience.- Experience of equipment such as UPS, generators, mechanical equipment.For more information please get in touch - ''
