The Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead the design, scale-up, and optimization of fermentation processes for producing alternative protein products.
This role focuses on enhancing fermentation efficiency, bioreactor optimization, and supporting sustainable production in the alternative protein sector.
You will work closely with R&D and production teams to scale innovative bioprocesses from lab to commercial scale.
Key Responsibilities: Lead fermentation process design and scale-up for alternative protein production.
Optimize bioreactor performance to improve yields and quality.
Collaborate with R&D teams on process innovation and pilot-to-commercial scale transition.
Monitor key metrics to meet production goals.
Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (Chemical, Bioprocess, Mechanical).
5+ years of experience in fermentation and process engineering.
Experience scaling up fermentation processes in the food or biotech industry.
Knowledge of aerobic fermentations, mass transfer, and process optimization.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with fungal or bacterial fermentation in protein production.
Background in alternative proteins, food technology, or plant-based industries.
