We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to assist in the planning and scheduling (extensive use of Primavera P6) for end-to-end hyperscale data center projects across Europe and the Nordics.
Role Overview: The Senior Project Controls Specialist will develop, implement, and manage corporate project controls procedures.
This role involves close consultation with internal project management and executive teams to ensure client satisfaction and presenting schedule and cost status reports.
The ideal candidate will also guide and mentor team members.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the development and maintenance of a management reporting data warehouse for comprehensive program controls reporting.
Lead schedule management using critical path method scheduling, cost management, forecasting, and document control for multiple projects.
Establish and oversee project cost control methods.
Recommend schedule adjustments and mitigation strategies.
Ensure accurate Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
Ensure precise cost management and forecasting.
Develop and implement project execution manuals.
Foster strong relationships with clients, customers, and contractors to support business growth.
Perform additional assigned duties as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement).
At least 10 years of direct project controls experience.
Hands-on field experience with the ability to create detailed construction schedules and align them with engineering and procurement activities.
Strong independent work capability, with creative and analytical thinking and sound decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Accounting experience is a must.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Oracle Primavera P6, and Earned Value Management systems.
Ability to travel regionally when needed.
