Overview Are you an experienced Operations Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
We've teamed up with a leading property management firm to offer an exciting opportunity as the Operations Manager for a prominent retail destination.
Your responsibilities will be: Lead Operations : Manage daily Centre operations, ensuring high standards in both hard and soft services with a focus on slick contractor management and engagement.
Team Development : Empower, motivate, and develop the operational team to deliver excellent service, working together to drive a one team ethos.
Stakeholder Engagement : Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and local authorities, ensuring effective communication and addressing concerns promptly.
Key objectives: Health & Safety & Environmental Compliance : Ensure adherence to all statutory and best practice procedures for Health & Safety (H&S) and Environmental management.
Contractor Management : Oversee contracted service teams (Soft Services, Hard Services, and Vertical Transportation) through their managers.
Budget & Service Charge Management : Manage operational budgets and support the Destination Director in preparing the annual service charge.
Service Delivery : Ensure that Maintenance, Security, Cleaning, H&S, and Service Charge provisions meet performance standards and stay within budget.
Car Park Income/Expenditure Management : Monitor and control income and expenses from the car park, including cost justification and forecasting.
The right candidate will have: Strong Leadership Skills : A proven leader with expertise in empowering, communicating, and motivating teams, with a background in customer-facing roles, ideally in shopping centres.
IOSH or NEBOSH accreditations.
Contractor Management : Skilled in managing contractors across both hard and soft services Budget Management Experience : Proficient in managing budgets, ideally with experience in service charge management.
